Get Excited and Make Things!
My name is Amber, and I am a constant crafter.
I attend monthly Card Making Classes that feed my scrap booking addiction. I sew, I embroider, I work with felt.. oh it goes on. I can never really sit still for that long, I feel like I'm always working on something new.
Lately my new obsession is working with M&P Soap. I've gone so far as to open an Etsy shop:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/milkandhoneysoaps (forgive me for not embedding a link I still have no idea how to do that). I've been enjoying working on this endeavor so much so I thought I would share with you some of my creations. I'm also going to put in a widget with my Etsy shop because I figure I may aswell shamelessly promote as much as possible.
So this is brand new today to the shop:
Goat's Milk and Honey Soap Sampler
The Cranberry Plum Bar
The Coffee Bar
So that's a little bit of what I've been up to!
Also here's an awesome download to print out the Get excited and Make Things Poster:

The Space Where you Create
Happy Monday!
I was reading a great post in the Forums on Etsy yesterday where a few people posted their work spaces. All of them were so beautiful I immediately felt a little self conscious of mine. We are still renting a creaky old 2 bedroom duplex and don't have a lot of space to be creative. We share an office (the only other bedroom in the house) where we each have a desk on opposite sides of the wall where we both create. Some of my fondest memories in this house are those days in the evening where we both take cups of tea and back to back sit at our desks and create.
Once I have a bigger home I dream of my creative space being something a little different but this is my space right now, it is where I for the most part create.
The desk and white storage unit are both from Ikea as is the filing rack that sits on top of the white storage unit. The chair is from a thrift store that I purchased years ago for 10$. I love having the filing rack as it does double duty as a filing system for us as well as it holds my shipping materials for my Etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/milkandhoneysoaps). You can see more shipping materials in between the desk and the storage unit as well. When you have a small place you have to be creative about storage!
Well that's it, the place where I create.
Lots of love<3
